With a really far daily commute that started a year ago, I bought a new car and sidelined the car I’ve used since I first started driving. This car sits a lot, but is in fairly good condition overall and I want to keep it running. When I moved the car to another parking spot one night, the power steering seized up and I noticed power steering fluid all over the road. I was also having some startup issues. I searched around for a new mechanic, as I have had many bad mechanics in Baltimore over the past 7 years living here, and I came across Paul’s Automotive. After talking to Paul for the first time, I could tell he was laid back, detail-oriented, patient, and would probably do good work on the car. I had the car towed to his shop and he called me every step of the way, sent me pictures of the issues, and made sure to explain every issue in depth and give me some time to think about the repair costs. He also made a point to come out and look under the hood with me after the repairs to show me where the fixed parts were located. He also called to follow-up on how the car was doing. I spent more money than I wanted to going in, but the repairs made sense in the context of the car's symptoms and were definitely done carefully and thoughtfully as the car is running much better now. I will definitely go back to Paul the next time my car needs some work and I also recommended him to some of my friends who have had trouble finding a good mechanic in Baltimore.
Thank you David for the kind words! We really appreciate it and hope to see you in the future but under better circumstances.
